I remember reading that for outdoor lighting, ambient light should have a
certain percentage of blue (10%?) added to it because it is being
reflected from the blue sky. I also think the sun should have a slightly
yellow tint to it. Anyone have exact percentages based on the temperature
of the sun? The blue tint will obviously depend on whether it's a clear
day or overcast.
There are lots of RGB values for surface colors floating around, but I
haven't seen any to simulate light color... ie: halogen, tungsten,
fluorescent, incandescent, sunlight, moonlight. There should be physical
constants associated with these that can be approximated with RGB.
